what to do with my life

so, there are so many things going on it is just crazy!! first off, i kind of randomly decided to go on this mission trip with my friend laura to kentucky and we are taking 3 of her middle school girls that she works with. we are going to work on a farm with these two old ladies in their 70s. one is a teacher and one is a nurse and they live on a farm in the back hills of kentucky and started a place called the lend-a-hand center and they just help all the people who live there and teach in the school and deliver babies and do home health. so we will be milking cows, doing farm chores, leading sunday school, and working with the two ladies who run the place. i leave saturday morning and we are driving down in a big van and hopefully, maybe stopping at the cincinnati zoo on the way down.


next thing, i have been really really hating my job doing home health so i started looking into some travel nursing opportunities. travel nursing assignments are typically about 3 months long. i was told by two agencies that i need some more experience and they cannot travel me until september. but there is one other agency that was willing to take me at my experience level. this agency is not quite as good as any of the other agencies but they are better than nothing and i will still end up making a lot more money that if i was here. the plan at this point is to move to raleigh north carolina on April 19 (1.5 weeks after i get back from kentucky) and start working at a women's prison on the 23rd. this means that when i get back from kentucky i will have to pack up my entire apartment and move it all to storage in about 1 week which will be CRAZY! the only thing i am waiting for is for the prison to accept my start date which is a week later than what they wanted. so nothing is quite a hundred percent at this point but its pretty close.

so EXCITING stuff happening, hopefully it all comes through and works out in the end.
