the good things in life

i learn not to take things for granted when i am up in ludington. i am so lucky to have the family that i have and to have a place that we can spend the weekends at on a lake that is so beautiful and to be able to do the things we do there. i just love laying in the front of the boat with the wind in my hair and the sun on my face speeding across the lake. i cant get over how beautiful everything is there and the fun that i have with my family. me, my brother, and his girlfriend went tubing behind the boat as the sun was going down and it was so much fun. then my brother went wakeboarding and i got some awesome pictures of him with the sun behind him. i also got to see one of my heros ryan spencer reed while i was up in ludington. ryan is a photographer who travels to sudan and takes pictures of the things that are going on in sudan. his pictures are asolutely amazing. ryan has my dream job. ryan's dad and brother are photographers who live in ludington and take pictures of all the local scenery. they are amazing as well. i met ryan at a gallery at hope college about a year ago and he taught me some things about photography as well as teaching me how i could become a photojournalist like him. he remembered me when i ran into him at the gallery in ludington. happy fourth of july by the way! always remember to take some time to check out the scenery and realize how good god is and take pride in what you have and spend time with the people you love.
